In history we are studying the ancient Greeks through the end of the year. We are reading a lot of Greek myths and about the adventures of Odysseus in a children's version of the Odyssey. Below is Abigail's Trojan horse and narration about the Trojan War.
So far, her favorite story about Odysseus is about the cyclops. He looks a little like the incredible Hulk.
In literature, we just finished reading Mrs. Piggle Wiggle. She lives in an upside down house and has the cure for every disease known to children like fighter-quarreler-itis. This is a drawing and narration of the book.

Abigail's mural is finally done. I've been talking about it for a year, but I couldn't decide what to put on there. Yesterday at about 5:30, I started putting clouds on the wall and just finished it! It turned out pretty good considering I had no plan beyond the castle. If you look really closely above the castle, you will see a little sun that Abigail made out of bendaroos and stuck on the wall.
